Guests

Ciber has now added a list of guests on the site after the active users, it can be found in the statistics section, or on the side of some skins
Nothing particularly useful for anyone, but helps us see whether we get many visits from unregistered users. Some of the guests are crawlers from search engines; these appear under their name and are in italic

Downtime
by

I know there has been quite a lot of downtime recently, but there is nothing I can do about it as it is all the hosting company's fault.
There will probably be more downtime in the future (knowing teh hosting company), so if you see errors or the pages don't load, just try again later.
We appologise for any inconvenience caused by this, but that won't stop us passing on the blame

So, what are you listening to?
by

Many users of this site use Audioscrobbler to see what they are listening to, and to find out new bands that they might like. I have recently implemented a new feature that takes advantage of this.
On the profile page, there is now a link to a user's AudioScrobbler profile, assuming they have entered their AS username.
Entering an AudioScrobbler username is possible through the Profile part of the Preferences page.
When adding a blog, a new check box is available (for those people who have entered their Audioscrobbler username) to show which song you are currently listening to.
Have fun

Change to the BB Codes

I have made a minor change to the BB codes, so now links will be in the form:
Min-Data UK [min-data.co.uk]
It also corrects it if you miss the "http://" bit off.
The actual stuff entered into the BB code is still exactly the same as it was before:
or:
If anyone doesnt like it, feel free to use the Messaging feature to tell me. Of course, if you do like it you can also contact me.
