Polls, anyone?

To add a poll to your blog, you firstly need to go to the Preferences page, and then go to the Polls section there. From then on it is fairly self explanatory.
If you are using a customisable blog, I would strongly recommend regenerating the page, as I have made a few changes to that (bug fixing and making customisable polls look better). You don't have to change the design, just regenerate the page.
Another change I have made is to give you the option to customise the date format, so If you didnt like it you can now change it. This is done from the main Preferences page.
Min-Data UK v2.5

Well, we finally did it. Customisable blogs are in.
As we have now included just about every major feature that you lot wanted, we have decided to go from v2.1 straight to v2.5, so welcome to MDUK 2.5
Now, on to the new features.
Search
A nice new feature I have added is a search option. To get to the search page, you can either go via the link in the main menu, by typing in some text in the search box that is on most of the themes or by typing text into the search box on the bar above customisable blogs.
The search feature is fairly advanced, and allows you to type the words in in any order (that may seem simple, but it is actually quite hard to code, especially when you add in being able to search for phrases).
Anyway, the following is allowed with searches:
search searches for a word
-search searches for blog entries and comments that do not contain a word
"search for this" searches for a phrase
-"search for this" searches for blog entries and comments that do not contain a phrase
blog:BLOGNAME searches a specific blog (BLOGNAME)
-blog:BLOGNAME searches blogs other than the specified blog (BLOGNAME)
Customisable Blogs
This is probably the main feature you have all been waiting for.
Viewing customised blogs
By default, users will be redirected to the customisable blog when clicking on a link to a blog. The page you are taken to has a bar at the top which will allow you to get back to MDUK, search and go to several specific MDUK pages (Preferences, Blog Management, etc).
If you do not want to view these customised blogs, you can choose to not do so by going to Preferences and in the Options area there is a tick box saying "View Customisable blog designs". Just untick that and click Update and you will view all the blog entries and comments inside MDUK.
Creating a Customised Blog
To create a customised blog, go to the Blog Management page and find the blog you want to create the design for. In the Control section there is a link to "Blog Design", which will take you to a wizard to create a customisable blog. When you click "Generate Blog" it will automatically mean that people will be taken to your blog.
If you don't want people to be taken to your customised blog, go to the "Control" section of the blog design page (link at the top), untick the tick box and click "Save Changes". If you want to host a blog somewhere else (as I am doing), fill in the Remote Address box. The page you enter needs to end in ?page= so that we can link to it.
If you can work out how to make a design and want MDUK to host it, click on the "Advanced" link and enter the html into the box. Images cannot be uploaded with it, so you would have to find somewhere else to host them.
The Advanced page can also be used if you want to tinker with any of the default designs. However, if you generate the blog design again (from the "Simple" page), any changes you have made will be lost. Of course, this is good if you have completely broken the design
Another major feature complete, and I can't think of any other major features like the customisable blogs or community blogs to add. Of course, I have enough small featues to keep me busy
If anyone finds any bugs, please tell me as soon as possible.
Have fun with v2.5

Further to my own blog, we would encourage all our visitors to pass a little to the aid funds for the relief effort in the tsunami and earthquake affected regions.
